Consign

Have something to consign? See our Consignor Agreement. Once you have looked over our agreement, you can print, fill and bring the form to us at the shop. Or we have copies on hand that you can come in and complete. We keep it pretty loose at Ragged, but we do have a few rules that help us help you.

Consignment Terms + Policies • Términos De Envío + Políticas 

  • Expertise. We do our best to know it all, but sometimes we won't have the answers. If the shop isn't slammed, we can google the info for you. If you have knowledge that we don't, please share and we’ll sort out that crazy bike trailer together.

  • Pericia. Hacemos todo lo posible para saberlo todo, pero a veces no tenemos las respuestas. Si la tienda no está bloqueada, podemos buscar la información en Google. Si sabe algo que nosotros no tenemos, compártalo y resolveremos ese loco remolque de bicicleta juntos.

  • Selling stolen gear will get you banned.  Not to mention, the cops will be called. It's not worth it.

  • Vender equipo robado hará que te baneen. Sin mencionar que llamarán a la policía. Que no vale la pena.

  • There are no returns. Once we sell an item, that money belongs to the consignor, not us. If you are completely unsatisfied, please let us know and we will do our best to remedy the situation. Please remember: all sales are final. 

  • No hay devoluciones. Una vez que vendemos un artículo, ese dinero pertenece al consignador, no a nosotros. Si está completamente insatisfecho, háganoslo saber y haremos todo lo posible para remediar la situación. Recuerde: todas las ventas son finales.

  • No means no. What we will and will not accept is at our discretion and we do not have to justify our reasoning.

  • When to bring items. We accept consignment the first two weeks of every month. We will not accept items 15 minutes before closing.

  • Cuándo traer artículos. Aceptamos envíos las dos primeras semanas de cada mes. No aceptaremos artículos 15 minutos antes de la hora de cierre.

  • Public health. We recognize that COVID still poses a risk to some customers, but masks are optional. 

  • Salud pública. Reconocemos que COVID todavía representa un riesgo para algunos clientes, pero las máscaras son opcionales.

  • No parking lot deals. We do our best to get the best price we can for you. If you do decide to consign with us, either honor that agreement or take your things and sell them elsewhere. You can pick up your gear at any time and there will be no hard feelings. Just no side deals, ie. in our store or parking lot.

  • No hay ofertas de estacionamiento. Hacemos todo lo posible para obtener el mejor precio posible para usted.   • Negotiating. Feel free to make an offer, but don't get mad when we won't budge on the price. Yes, we want everyone to end their day feeling like they just won "The Price is Right,” but our first priority is the consignor who brought in their gear to sell. We will give you a recycled grocery bag to carry your goods home and maybe even help you throw that new hard boat on your roof though!

  • Negociando. Siéntase libre de hacer una oferta, pero no se enoje cuando no cambiemos el precio. Sí, queremos que todos terminen su día sintiendo que acaban de ganar "El precio es correcto", pero nuestra primera prioridad es el consignador que trajo su equipo para vender.   • Consigning with us is optional. We have a great track record selling gear, but if our terms are not agreeable to you, you do not have to sell through us. We get it. Just come in and say “hey” sometimes.

  • Pump, pump, pump it up! Yes, you can use our bike pump and other tools in the shop.

  • We do accept beer as a tip.
